Follow-up

Every year, we host a 3D printing and 3D modeling contest.

Participating students learn and develop skills in 3D design and 3D printing, creating an educational object based on one or more topics from their favorite school subject.

The 3 winning projects/teams receive a 3D printer provided by the sponsors

10 teams
represented 10 schools from the Bucharest–Ilfov region

General description

Ten teams, each consisting of three students, took part in online and in‑person sessions where they learned the skills needed to design an object that can be used in the learning process.

3D Design

With the help of Tinkercad, students learn quickly and easily how to model practical 3D objects.

They develop the ability to transform simple geometric shapes into functional and complex forms.

3D Printing

Ideas and concepts are brought into the real world in a very short time, through an extremely accessible process.

Prizes

The 3 winning teams received a 3D printer to be used within their school. The printer is handed over to the educational institution to which the team belongs.

Practical Sessions
Learning New Skills

Since 2021, across five annual editions, students have learned the principles of 3D modeling and 3D printing and have created unique projects. From pixels to reality, they turn ideas into virtual prototypes and then transform them into real objects through 3D printing.
