EEN2EIC project was launched in Romania

On the 13th of February 2024, the #EEN2EIC was launched in Romania with a kickoff meeting event, organized by Măgurele Science Park Association in a hybrid format.

The purpose was to:

•          Present the EEN2EIC project outline from start to finish

•          Address any relevant background information and input that may shape the project

•          Use a set agenda to ensure that nothing gets left out of the meeting by mistake

•          Answer questions & establish expectations

During the event, EEN members:

• Understood the range of support services made available by EEN2EIC to EEN advisers;

• Found out more on how EEN network offices can be empowered to support potential EIC applicants, directly from Ms. Anna Sibilla – Project Advisor at European Innovation Council and SME Executive Agency (EISMEA) – Belgium;

• Learned more about the Voucher scheme for the EEN CILs and NLs, directly from Mr. Vytautas Kalinauskas – Project Manager at Lithuanian Innovation Center – Lithuania;

• Got practical guidance on how to use the EEN2EIC IT Tool and how to register a case on the EEN2EIC IT Tool Platform, directly from Mr. Ioannis Kortidis– Project Manager at EEN2EIC at PRAXI Network – Greece;

• Got practical information about the EIC Accelerator and an update on the process of sending applications to the EIC Accelerator, directly from Ms. Roxana Lupascu – Expert Innovation & Development, EEN Partner PROSME Coordinator –Magurele Science Park – Romania;

• Found out how to access and use Horizon results as efficient as possible, directly from Mr. Cristian Ormindean PROSME Consortium Coordinator – Romania;

• Had the chance to directly ask their question to EEN2EIC specialists.

The target audience was formed by EEN members that provide support to their clients in applying to EIC and support Seal of Excellence holders to finance their projects.

When the #synergy between the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions and Europe’s flagship innovation programme was created, a strong #cooperation mechanism has developed between the #EIC and the #EEN to support innovation and scale-up companies, to increase the number of quality proposals to EIC calls and to give EU support for innovation in a more effective way.

“If you look at history, innovation doesn’t come just from giving people incentives; it comes from creating environments where their ideas can #connect. Today we connected, synergies occurred and we decided to overcome preconceived ideas to face a new #challenge: capacity building dimension as key to the project, through state-of-the-art measures to initiate, nurture and mature a professional #community of #EEN2EIC advisors”, pointed out Roxana Lupașcu, the coordinator of EEN2EIC Project in Romania.

It was truly inspiring to see so many familiar faces and welcome new ones into our ever-expanding community!

Big thank you to Stup for hosting us again this time and, as always, being a partner we can rely on to create truly vibrant events!🤝

We don’t say it. But our special guests Anna, Vytautas, Ioannis, Roxana and Cristian said it, and also the participants both physically and online: super organization, great atmosphere and a lot of valuable information!

Thank you all!
