After the visit to Inaschool, where the MSP team enjoyed a warm welcome from both students and teachers, and where the students learned how to print a small 3D object, two more educational institutions followed, which benefited from introductory sessions into the behind-the-scenes of 3D technology.
➤ Politehnica School
Since the spring of this year, Măgurele Science Park Association has had a solid partnership with Politehnica School, together organizing extracurricular activities for students. These activities aimed to bring students closer to and engage them with STEM fields and new technology.

Together with our partners, Bit&R, we delivered a presentation and practical application on artificial intelligence and programming for school students from grades 6 and 7, and later we facilitated access for the interested ones who wanted to visit a research institute within ICPE-CA.
In October, several school students wanted to see a 3D printer, how it works, and what can be created with it. The MSP team visited them with joy, sharing once again the mysteries of 3D technology with the curious ones. The school students learned how to use Tinkercad, a student-friendly program where they can create a variety of projects using basic shapes, and discovered the steps leading up to the actual 3D printing of a small object.
➤ “Costin C. Kirițescu” Economic College
We are delighted when the news about our workshops spreads quickly, especially through events we happily participate in, such as Researchers’ Night. This led to our collaboration with “Costin C. Kirițescu” Economic College.
We were excited by the invitation to introduce students to 3D modeling techniques, which we share with all students during our classroom visits, and we were glad to make full use of the 3D printers already available at the school. This means that students are using them and are eager to improve their skills to apply them in various school projects.

We thank the teachers for the invitation and also the students who never stop discovering, exploring, and becoming, day by day, a little bit of the professionals of tomorrow.
We hope to meet these students again soon in other educational initiatives and wish them great success in all the projects they will undertake.
