“MAGURELE SCIENCE PARK” ASSOCIATION, together with ROBOHUB, organises the Robotics Competition – Make your city smart, between September and November 2023.
The competition is part of the educational projects initiated and co-organized by “MĂGURELE SCIENCE PARK” ASSOCIATION together with its partners and aims to attract students from the Bucharest-Ilfov region towards the STEAM sciences (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) through robotics, in an interactive and easy-to-assimilate manner.
The competition takes place between September and November 2023 and has 6 (six) stages:
- Registration and selection of participants
- Physical meeting at the RoboHub headquarters to hand over the work kits and explain the topic
- Online session (via Zoom) for questions and clarifications regarding the use of the robotics kit
- Individual work and delivery of final works
- Judging of works
- The premiere
Who can apply?
The competition is open to all students who live and study in Bucharest and Ilfov County, aged 10-12.
What is the registration method?
Students who wish to enter the competition are challenged to imagine what a smart city looks like and how it works, and what role robots play in it. Registration is done by completing this form. The deadline for submitting materials is October 8, 2023.
