One of the core missions of the Măgurele Science Park Association (MSP) is to create meaningful opportunities for dialogue between organizations with complementary expertise and to transform networking encounters into tangible collaboration opportunities.
A recent example is the meeting facilitated by MSP between GEOSTUD and the National Institute of Research-Development for Machines and Installations Designed for Agriculture and Food Industry (INMA Bucharest). The discussions highlighted the mutual interest of both organizations in developing joint initiatives at both national and European levels.
The dialogue confirmed the strong complementarities between the expertise and capabilities of the two organizations, creating favorable conditions for future partnerships focused on research, innovation, and sustainability. Participants explored European funding opportunities, including Horizon Europe Cluster 6 calls, as well as potential initiatives that could be developed through national funding programmes.
Beyond the identification of funding opportunities, the most significant outcome of the meeting was the shared commitment to continue the dialogue and to define concrete areas of collaboration aligned with the strategic interests and competencies of each organization.
A natural next step in strengthening this relationship will be the planned working visit to INMA Bucharest, which will provide an appropriate framework for further discussions and for shaping potential joint projects.
Through this process, MSP reaffirms its role as an active facilitator within the innovation ecosystem—supporting dialogue between partners, identifying relevant funding opportunities, and creating the conditions necessary for long-term, impactful collaborations. For MSP, success is not measured by the organization of a single meeting, but by its ability to generate connections that evolve into active partnerships and projects with real impact.
