The year 2025 marked an important milestone for AMSP in strengthening the relationship between the business environment, research and innovation through concrete initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable development, technology transfer and entrepreneurship. The activities carried out reflected an increasingly connected business community, open to collaboration and focused on innovative solutions.
Strategic partnerships with the business environment
In 2025, AMSP signed 37 collaboration agreements with business entities, with the main objective of identifying and promoting expertise in the private sector and facilitating its cooperation with research and development entities within the MSP community.
Through these partnerships, companies shared with MSP their technological offerings as well as their development and collaboration needs, laying the groundwork for applied collaborations with research providers to develop innovative products, services and technologies. AMSP acted as a catalyst for dialogue between research and the market, supporting the commercialization of scientific results within the economic environment.

MSP’s actions transformed the business community into an internationally connected, innovative and competitive ecosystem, prepared to seize the opportunities of the economy of the future.
Investing in the future: entrepreneurship and education
In 2025, MSP continued to support the development of young entrepreneurs through projects and initiatives dedicated to building entrepreneurial skills and fostering an innovative business ecosystem. Some of the major projects supporting this direction included LVIB 2025 (Laser Valley Innovation Bootcamp), ENTRANT, Be an Entrepreneur 9.0! and the Măgurele Summer School.
The Laser Valley Innovation Bootcamp (LVIB) 2025, organized with the support of the National Authority for Research (NAR), under the coordination of the Ministry of Education and Research, together with the Măgurele Science Park Association and Launch România, and held between May 22–24, 2025, brought together over 100 brilliant minds—researchers, entrepreneurs, and students. With the support of mentors, speakers and jury members from the MSP community, participants were able to transform scientific ideas into solutions with real-world impact.
The ENTRANT project facilitated young entrepreneurs’ access to essential theoretical and practical resources for business development. Within this project:
- An online event and a physical workshop were organized, providing participants with networking opportunities and experience exchange;
- The ENTRANT training platform was launched, offering 10 theoretical courses focused on management, marketing, financing and business strategy;
- Five companies benefited from the mentoring program, completing 8 modules that provided practical guidance and personalized support during their business growth process.
The Măgurele Science Park Association brought sustainability, innovation and the role of young people in research to the forefront through the contributions of experts and mentors from its community, during the 2025 edition of the Măgurele Summer School of Science and Technology, held between August 22 and September 5, 2025. The program brought together dozens of high school students passionate about science, who had the opportunity to interact directly with researchers, professors and experts from diverse fields—from nuclear physics and engineering to entrepreneurship, environmental studies and sustainability.
In parallel, MSP continued its 2025 collaboration with the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UNSTPB) through the project Be an Entrepreneur 9.0!, developed and implemented by the UPBizz Entrepreneurship Center. Conducted between October and December 2025, the project facilitated the transfer of theoretical and practical knowledge through courses, mentoring sessions and a business idea competition.
MSP contributed by organizing workshops led by mentors from the MSP community, focusing on essential topics for early-stage entrepreneurs:
- “Success stories from entrepreneurs – best practices from the MSP community” – October 7, 2025, led by Andrei Turcu, Founder of Audit UX (18 participants)
- “Intellectual Property – how to protect your idea at the early stage” – October 14, 2025, led by Amber Roibu, Associate Patent Attorney, Carter DeLuca & Farrell LLP (15 participants)
- “Financing for early-stage entrepreneurs” – October 21, 2025, led by Loredana Gavrilescu, Startup Consultant, Iceberg Plus (15 participants)

MSP also supported the evaluation of teams in the “Be an Entrepreneur 9.0!” initiative (December 2025), actively contributing to assessing and encouraging business ideas with potential.
Additionally, MSP participated in the Start Your Startup event alongside UPBizz (November 21–22, 2025), with a booth dedicated to promoting the association’s activities and involvement in the judging process of competitions for students and pupils.

Another initiative in which MSP was involved in the selection, evaluation and judging of over 90 companies was the Marc Impact Programme—a program focused on scaling impact-driven businesses. This initiative is a joint effort of ERSTE Foundation, Erste Social Finance, IFUA Nonprofit Partner and SIMPACT, and is locally supported by BCR Social.
Through these integrated actions, MSP has created a learning and support environment for young entrepreneurs, combining theoretical education, practical mentoring and networking opportunities.

The impact generated through partnerships, events and entrepreneurship programs outlines a clear direction for the coming years: strengthening a business community that is open, innovative and internationally connected, capable of turning collaboration into a sustainable competitive advantage and seizing European and global opportunities in the economy of the future.
